He was predeceased by: his parent John Blair Diamond Paul; and his brother John Kevin Diamond Paul. He is survived by: his parent Jacqueline "Nan" Diamond (Pitts); his wife Jocelyn (MacKenzie); his children, Coby (Marla) and Janessa; and his sister Karen Diamond of New Glasgow.

Donations may be made in Paul's memory to the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital.
