He was predeceased by: his parent Alphonse; his grandson James; his brothers, Ronnie McInnis of New Glasgow and Eugene McInnis of New Glasgow; his children, Earl McInnis and Margaret Tucker; his parent-in-law Anthony; and also, Molly (MacPherson) and Marcott.
He is survived by: his parent Margaret (McInnis); his children, Michael McInnis of Linacy and Margaret McInnis of Stellarton; his grandchildren, Tim Kontuk, Matthew Kontuk, Brandon, Jerrod, Mitchell McInnis, Keith, Ryan, Julia McInnis and Hannah McInnis; his great grandchildren, Leland, Lucas, Keagan and Liam; his sister Jean MacGillivray of New Glasgow; and his children, Steven MacInnes of Ontario and Dawn Cross Woodman of Halifax. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
