It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred May Whidden of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 2, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McCabe and Julia McCabe (Hattie); her husband Harold; her great grandchild Faith Hartling; and her sisters, Elsie, Shirley and Laura.
She is survived by: her children, Jim (Anne), Glenda Lamey Westville (Leo), Susan Jordan Sherbrooke (Lennie) and John Halifax (Mary); and her grandchildren, Sonya, Jeff, Jessica and Mary.
Donations in Mildred's memory may be made to the Harold and Mildred Whidden Scholarship Fund, St. Mary's Academy, Sherbrooke, Guys. Co, N.S. or to a charity of one's choice.
