With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Matilda Fillmore (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pero and Mary Pero; her sister Mary; and her brothers-in-law, Wayne England and Bob MacIsaac.

She is survived by: her husband Rick Fillmore; her children, Suzanne Banks (Josh) of Squamish, BC and Shaun Fillmore (Lori); her siblings, Marie Works (Paul), Abercrombie, Margaret England, Marlene MacNaughton (Michael), John (New Glasgow) and Peter Pitts; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Turner (Sheila) and Elaine McVey (Bob). She is also survived by numerous extended family members, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close family friends.
