It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary MacKeigan (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who passed away at the age of 85, on April 24, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hawboldt and Eliza Hawboldt (Keddy); and her siblings, Bob Hawboldt, Sally MacDonald, Judy Wade, Pauline "Boots" Melanson and Georgina.

She is survived by: her husband Melvin; her children, Susan Watters, Debbie Beaton (Larry) and Pat MacKeigan (Donna); her grandchildren, Craig (Lisa), Chris (Hillary), Kirk Watters (Kris), Willis and Hannah MacKeigan; her great grandchildren, Liam, Carter, Hayden, Greyson and Chloe Mary; her stepgrandchildren, Sonya, Tanya, Jennifer, Heather and Meagan; her brothers, Dick Hawboldt (Francis) and Paul Melanson (Sharon); and also, Dorothy Rogers and Albert Watters. She is also survived by Mom loved all animals.
