It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Dickinson (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles David and Janet Catherine MacDonald (Robertson); her grandson Nicholas Fitzpatrick; her brother John R. "Jack" MacDonald; her niece Charlotte MacDonald; her nephew Raylo Dickinson; her cousin Murray MacDonald; and her siblings-in-law, Lena Dickinson, Hazel Dickinson, Mary MacDonald, Ronnie Dickinson and Stewart Dickinson.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Knox, David Dickinson, Kenzieville, Patricia Fitzpatick (Lester), Linacy, Virginia Mahoney (Brian), James Dickinson and Hamilton; her grandchildren, Damon Fitzpatrick and Linacy; her children, Abby Charlton (Tyler), Carstairs, Alta, Vincent Mahoney (Chrissy MacLeod), Erin Starr (Paul), Que, Jessica Mahoney (Shawn Bisson) and Bradley Mahoney; her great grandchildren, Chloe Maielle Charlton, Emsley Gray Charlton, Rhett Nixon Charlton and Ryver Nash Charlton; her grandchildren, Payton Brian Mahoney, Austin Cooper and Lawrence John Starr; her nieces, Karen, Diane, Kathy and Christine; her nephew John; and her cousins, Alex "Sandy", Kent "Bubs", Barbie, Marion and Graham.
