She is survived by: her sisters, Teresa "Thea" Bendert and Josephine "Pepi" Schultz; her stepdaughter Mary; her sister Lisa Wohlshutz; her children, Diane Wagg (Raymond) and Gordon Waxl Marten River (Kathy); her stepdaughter Anne Melanson; her grandchildren, Charlotte, Haley, Mitchell, Jordan, Jason, Vickie, Graham, Mark, Madeline and Devon; and her friend Janet Farrell.

Donations can be made in her name to the Tearmann House, New Glasgow.
