He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wilson and Helen Elizabeth Wilson (MacIntosh); his wife Donna; his sister Bonita "Bonnie" Adams; and his mother-in-law Edna Byers (Riverton).

He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Morgan), Stephen (Mikaela) and Jamie (Deandra); his grandson Gabriel; his brother Howard "Chipper" (Mary Anne); his father-in-law Jim Byers; and his brother-in-law Dan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in Joey's memory to his family.
