He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Vance and Sarah Vance; his children, Frank Leonard Vance and Catherine "Kit" Vance; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Vance, Colleen Dowding and Dougie Ehler.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Louise; his children, Donald (Ale) and Connie Camus (Aurel) of Calgary, AB; his siblings, Richard (Foxbrook), Tena Darroch (Jack) of Whitby, ON, Donna Ehler and Connie Murdock (Brent); his father-in-law Percy Hayne (Pictou Landing); his brother-in-law Percy Hayne (Mary Gorman); his grandchildren, Lindsay Vance, Johnathon Vance, Cape Breton, Shelby Camus (Serge) of Calgary, AB, Mandy Camus of Calgary, AB, Ben Vance and Georgie Vance; his great grandchildren, Amber, Jensen, Jessie, Elena and Catherine; and his granddaughter Danielle.
