With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John McDavid of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 21, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John McDavid to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sifton McDavid and Helen McDavid (Hocquard); his father-in-law Joe MacLean; and his sister-in-law Alice McDavid. He is survived by: his wife Joanne (MacLean); his son Michael (Maria); his grandson Logan; his siblings, Faye Greene (Les), Barb Mason (Dave), Wayne and Donald; his mother-in-law Doris MacLean; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Kennedy (Donnie), Janet Dewar (Donnie), Angela Stroud (Mark) and Allan MacLean (Bonnie).

As per NS COVDI-19 restrictions, attendees must wear a mask and show proof of full vaccination and valid ID.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Pictou County Palliative Care Society.
