It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John MacDonnell (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 29, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John MacDonnell to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Michael MacDonnell, Mary MacDonnell, Albert and Rose Keith. He is survived by: his children, Dakota Westaway, Madison and David MacDonnell; the mother of his children Diane McMullin; his parents, Sean and Jocelyne of Chance Harbour; and his siblings, Ryan (Michelle) of Prince George, Anne (Thekla) of Merigomish and Mark (Nina) of Toronto. He is also survived by nieces and nephew, and several aunts, uncles, and, cousins.
