He was predeceased by: his spouse Patricia "Pat" Gallant; his parents, Angus Gallant and Frances Gallant; his parents-in-law, Aubrey Doucette and Mary Doucette; his siblings-in-law, Wanda Gallant, Doreen Ford, William, Earl and Harvey Doucette; his nephews, Robert, Wayne, Shawn Ford, Kevin Gallant, Wade Doucette and Josh Doucette; and his niece Debbie Doucette.

He is survived by: his child Jeffrey; his grandchildren, Autumn and Tyler; his siblings, Carl (Mary Lee), Wayne (Valerie), Tim (Wendy), Jean Axworthy (John), Joyce Gallant (Brian) and Lisa Profitt (Dan); his niece Rhonda Gallant; and his close friends, Toni Rapponi (Jack), Tony Gauthier, Kent Ford and Dwight Doucette. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
