He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Patricia "Joyce" Borden and James "Jim" Desmond; his friends, Charlie Jordan (Jake), Russell Borden, Dink Paris and Lester; his children, Larry Dorrington, Greg MacLean, Sharon MacLean, Isabel Izzard and Donna Moskalenco; his grandchildren, Jermain Barteaux, Ayzha MacLean, Jakholbie MacLean, Taurean MacLean, Muriko Izzard, Murtriko Izzard, Muresia Izzard and Chase Moskalenco; his great grandchildren, Tyson Barteaux, Vance Barteaux, Josiah Walker, Jairus Walker, Aiauna Graham and Jesiah Izzard; his goddaughter Jenniffer Clyke; his siblings, Clayton Borden, Susan Borden, Carmen Desmond and Francis Borden; his former wife Nancy Izzard (Paris); his siblings, Edward Borden (Becky), Aurthor Borden, Dave Borden, Robert Borden (Sharon), Steven Borden, Murry Desmond, Janice Borden (Mike), Nancy Borden, Carol Desmond, Nancy Desmond, Laura Desmond, Candace Desmond, Sandra Desmond and Jean Desmond; his uncle Charles Borden Sr.; his aunt Theresa Borden; his fiancé Carmel Chisholm; and also, Larry Pelly and James Allen Izzard.
In lieu of flowers, the family request, donations be made to the Pictou Dialysis Unit that Jimmy felt so strongly about.
