He was predeceased by: his parents, Edison Priest and Ella Priest (MacDonald); his wife Nancy (MacLennan); his brothers, Gordon Priest and Alvin Priest; his grandson Terry Priest; and his brothers-in-law, Ralph MacKeeman and Doug Farrell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Priest, Shelly Priest (Tyler Meade), Sheila Priest (Dan Moore) and Michelle Rector (Phil); his grandchildren, Kyle Rector, Matthew and Anthony Weatherby; his great grandchildren, Jude, Jacob, Ella, Sam and Millie; his siblings, Charlotte MacKeeman, Jane Farrell (Jerry MacPherson), Vera Patterson (Steve), Raymond Priest (Pearl) and Russell Priest (Wanda); and his sister-in-law Mary Priest.
Donations in memory of Hector may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Diabetic Association.
