With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harvey Wayne Gillis (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 3, 2018 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Daniel Joseph; and his siblings, Sarah Fitzpatrick, James Allan, Daniel Joseph, George and Ronald.
He is survived by: his parent Mary Ellen Gillis (Hutchings); and his siblings, Eileen MacPherson (William), Lorraine MacLeod (Fraser) of Trenton, Dougald Gillis (Judy), Northwest River, Labrador and Raymond "Ray" Gillis of Thorburn.
Donations may be made in Harvey's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Diabetes Association.
