He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lewis and Mary Catherine Lewis (MacDonald); his siblings, Mary Jane, Claire, Lillian, Allan, Joe, Lornie and John; and his siblings-in-law, Mildred, Mary, Doris, Rita, Joe, Archie, Arthur and Leo.

He is survived by: his wife Corina Lewis; his children, Mary Jane Lewis (Tim Chapman) and Leo "Billy" Lewis (Linacy); his grandson Mitchell Lewis (Margaret); and his sister Catherine "Kit" Thibeau of Kippens, N. L.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
