Grant Maclean Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2018, at the age of 82, Grant Maclean (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Kenneth MacLean; his son Kenneth; his sibling James; his siblings-in-law, Gilbert Jones, Carman Sutherland, Blake Stewart and Helen MacLeod; and also Myrtle.

He is survived by: his parent Margaret MacLean (MacLean); his children, Paul Riverton (Lorraine), Gwen Brook (Kevin), Lori Brook (Ryan) and Lyons Brook; his grandchildren, Cole, Brooke, Morgan and Piper; his sisters, Isobel Jones of Dartmouth, Ruth Baillie (Fletcher) of West Branch, Kathleen Sutherland of La Salle, ON and Sharon Gunn (Donnie) of Scotsburn; his brother-in-law Earl MacLeod of Westville; and his friends, Robbie Forbes, Lyons Brook and Al Pettipas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He also was the primary care provider for his wife Jean, during her illness and until her death, as she battled Alzheimer's Disease.
