Gordon Joseph Best Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2023, Gordon Joseph Best (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Best and Mary Best (MacDonald); his sisters, Anne Henderson and Sylvia Stewart; and his brothers-in-law, John Irving and Wayne Snair.

He is survived by: his stepfather Jock Fielding; his wife Valerie Best (MacLellan); his son Gary (Violet); his granddaughters, Ashley Best and Megan Best (Heather); his great grandchildren, Emersyn and Juniper; his siblings, Vena McCallum (Percy), Marie Irving, Gail Snair and Gary Best (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Gordie Henderson, Wayne MacLellan (Charlene), June Fisher and Alice MacLellan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family Flowers only, donations in memory of Gordon may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital.
