He was predeceased by: his parents, James Philip and Theresa Delorey (MacGillivray); his father-in-law Aubrey Bryan; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Delorey and Dr. Clark Kent.

He is survived by: his wife Kathie (Bryan); his daughters, Noelle Cummings (Adam), Melanie Peters (Troy) and Bobbie Lee (Garrett); his grandchildren, David Cummings (Tara), Kaden, Madison, Emma, Hunter, Hadley, Hannah, Annie and Nora; his siblings, Peggy DeCoste (Richard), Marie Chisholm, David Delorey, Richard Delorey (Gosha) and Darrell Delorey; his mother-in-law Kay Bryan; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Adamson (Harry Richardson), Debbie Clark, Terry Lynn (John) and Jimmy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Little Harbour Community Centre (4892 Little Harbour Rd, Trenton, NS B0K1X0).
