George Simms Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George Simms (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who passed away at the age of 69, on July 5, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Ross and Lillian Isabel Simms (Wright); and his sisters, Rebecca, Sherry Burke and Joanne Sheehan.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Elizabeth (O'Laney); his children, Tracey Simms-Green (Charles Green), George Simms (Amanda), Mills and Erin Simms (Craig Sharpe); his grandchildren, Hayley, Kelsey, Noah, Kyle, Kaden and Carson; and his siblings, Lori Sangster (Danny), John Simms (Edna) and Susan Gerrior. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
