It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Rutledge (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 3, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Rutledge and Joseph Rutledge; his siblings, Wayne, Stewart and Bea Spears; and his father-in-law Jameel Mustapha.

He is survived by: his wife Rihanna; his sons, Grant and Jod; his siblings, Pearl (Fred), McInnis, Jennie (David), Misener, Sheila (Kenny), MacLeod and John (Hardy); and his friend Tye. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
