She was predeceased by: her parent George James; her husband John James Porter; and her stepson John Henry Porter. She is survived by: her parent Margaret Alice Inglis (Chisholm); her daughter-in-law Gerry Porter of Bedford, NS; her grandson John Richard "Jack" Porter (Chiceko); and her great grandchildren, Chichana Ethel of Vancouver, BC and Mutsuki Marion of Vancouver, BC.
Donations in her memory may be made to First Presbyterian Church or a charity of choice.
