She is survived by: her daughter Susan Thompson; her stepgranddaughters, Paige and Sidney; her brother Reverend Alvin (Marion); and her nieces and nephews, Ian (Jennifer), Carl (Cindy), Catherine (Bruce) and Melissa (Steve).
