She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred MacNab and Violet MacNab; her brothers, Wallace and Bruce; her husband James Bain; and her son David.

She is survived by: her son Avery (Nancy); and her sister Doris MacLachlan. She is also survived by four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Equally motivated to cherish humility and charity was she to admonish vanity and greed.
