She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Leslie and Effie Ivilla MacDonald (Clyburn); her husband Raeburn "Rae"; and her siblings, Lydia (Graham), Paul and Alexander MacDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Kennedy (Bonita), Leslie Kennedy (Colleen), Lorna Kennedy (Brennen) and Sheldon Kennedy (Sandra); her grandchildren, Jefferey, Gina, Lydia and Joseph; and her sister Muriel Skinner. She is also survived by several nieces and Nephews.
