Edna Cameron Laffin Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Cameron Laffin (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dougal Reid and Sarah Reid; her adoptive parents, John H. Archibald and Carrie Archibald of Hopewell; her siblings, Laura Blois (Archie), Elladie Taylor, Pearl Williams, Carol Carr, Betsy Daniel, Parker Reid (Linda), George Reid (Joan), Delmar Reid, Alvin Archibald and Billy Reid; her former husband Elmer Cameron; her grandsons, Justin Green and Rob Canning; her stepgrandson Matthew Ross; her great grandchild Lyla Fraser; and her son-in-law Ron Ross.

She is survived by: her children, Joan Cameron Trenton (Gerry), Ann-Marie Ross (Brad), Bernadette Morrison (Kenny), Karen Greencorn (Charles) and Kim Cameron (Maureen); her stepsons, Bruce and David Laffin; her siblings, Nancy Mydean (Kamal) and Neil Reid (Joyce); and her friends, Marg Casey, Barb Purvis, Lalia Long, Marion Johnson, Betty Young and Bonnie Logan. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
