We bid farewell to Douglas Brown (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 3, 2024 at the age of 93. Douglas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gordon Brown and Wilena Josephine Jardine (MacLeod); and his sister Elizabeth Lloy (Baylee). He is survived by: his wife Joan Elizabeth Brown (Humphreys); his children, Stephen Brown, Allan Brown (Lila), Fred Brown (Floss), Carla Bednarz (late Andrew) and Janet MacDonald (Hugh); his grandchildren, Riley, Rachel Brown, Sarah, Marshall Brown and Eldon MacDonald; his niece Sharon MacKay (Lloy); his nephew Doug Lloy; his friend Patricia Fraser; and his pet Charlie Brown.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Albion Masonic Lodge (427 Little Harbour Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H3S9).
No flowers by request. Donations in his memory may be made to the Pictou County SPCA.
