Doug Sheehan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug Sheehan (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 2, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth (Foote); his parents, Daniel (Sheehan) and Mary Sheehan (King); his siblings, Daniel, Raymond "Bish", Gordon "Pork", Angus, David, Elizabeth Millen and Dolly MacDonald; and his brother-in-law Bob Foote.
He is survived by: his sister Frances Thompson; his siblings-in-law, Jamie Foote and Marion Foote; his children, Peter, David (Susan), Robert, Mary Beth and Philip (Amanda); his grandchildren, Curtis, Katie, Daniel, MacKenzie, Maggie, Marlee and Maxwell; and his great grandchildren, Guinevere, Augustine and Sonny.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home (55 Almont Ave, New Glasgow, NS B2H3G5).
Donations in his memory may be made to Holy Cross Cemetery or a charity of choice.
