He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald MacLeod and Ellen MacLeod of Abercrombie; his wife Marilyn (MacKenzie); his siblings, Robert, Mabel (Hayden) and Barb (Webster); and his brother-in-law Tom.

He is survived by: his children, Paul MacLeod (Cindy), Denise Avery (Allan) and Wayne MacLeod (Sarah); his grandchildren, Alyssa Munro (Nick), Hayley Beaton (Dylan), Nicole McCarthy (Conor), Rochelle Langille (Luke), Renee Rector (Eric), Tara McDonald (Ben), Dylan MacLeod and Aaron Macleod; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Amber Munro, Lyra Beaton, Feile McCarthy, Noah, Olivia Rector and Evan McDonald; his brothers, Reg MacLeod (Sharon) and Roger MacLeod; and his siblings-in-law, Nolan Webster and Zeana Hollis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
