It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Lillian Hoare (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 6, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Boutilier and Lillian Boutilier (Field); and her sister Betty Lou Mills. She is survived by: her siblings, Ina Thompson (Jim) and Lester; and her children, John (Donna), Frederick, Reginald, Howard (Marilyn), David (Thelma), William, Robert, Joseph, Alan, Catherine and Patricia.

In her last years and especially through the pandemic, she often prayed for a better world for all; that peace and love would prevail.
