Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donald Power of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 74, on April 29, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Mae and Martin Power; and his siblings, Terry, Jean, Jane and Sarah Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Redmond; his children, Angela Power (Kevin Engel), Julie (Kevin Fraser) and D. A. (Amanda Power); his sisters, Peggy (Terry Gallagher), Martina (George Acres), Ann Power, Loretta (Joe Carpenter) and Claire (Bill McKay); his grandchildren, Josh, Kaitlyn, Megan Engel, Ethan Fraser, Olivia, Keira and Logan Power; the mother of his children Rosemary McKay; and his stepchildren, Kimberly Cook, Michelle MacLaren, Trevor, Chris and Karrie Redmond. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A ceremony and burial will take place in St John's Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions.
