She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Gregory McChesney and Mary Margaret Dunn (McChesney); her husband Dougie; her siblings-in-law, Mildred Dunn and Hughie Hale; and her nephew Shane.

She is survived by: her stepfather Robert Lawrence (Bob); her children, Michele (Owen), Jim (Stephanie), Rhonda (Byron) of Saint John, NB, Trevor, Trenton and Danny Grace (Kelly); her grandchildren, Craig, Tiffany, Tyler, Bailey, Isabella and Mason; her great grandchildren, Jaxton, Forrest, Eilidh, Bryson and Brynlee; her siblings, Mary Anita Hale, Robert (Millie), Alan and Barry Dunn; and her sister-in-law Judy Dunn. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and, cousins.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit c/o Aberdeen Health Foundation or a charity of choice.
