He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Foote and Irene Foote (McCulloch); his brothers, Alvin and Arthur; and his sister-in-law Olive Foote.

He is survived by: his siblings, Ralph (Claire), Catherine Kohlsmith and Jean DesBarres. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
