With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Coll in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on August 8, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hector "Charlie" and Ethel Coll (Archibald); his mother-in-law Alice Logan Hall MacKinnon; and his brother Henry Edward "Harry" Coll. He is survived by: his wife Heather; his children, Charles (Kathryn), Cathie (BJ Ross) and Ian (Paulina); and his grandchildren, Charlie, Hailee, Heather-Alexa, Brian, Kaspian and Selena.

“Although I met most of the Colls plunking away on a Chalmers Doane ukulele - I was never qualified nor talented enough to play - it wasn't until I traveled on one of those (should have been outlawed) Ron Mackay band trips by train to Montreal where I got to meet Chuck Coll t his very best.
