Carolyn MacKay Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn MacKay (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 5, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allison Borden and Barbara Henderson Chapman (Potter); her husband Lawrence; her brother Robbie; her half-brothers, Tim Chapman and Paul Hanright; and her stepbrother Peter Ives.
She is survived by: her son Michael (Erin); her grandchildren, Brooke and Emmett; her daughter Michelle (Joanasie); her grandchildren, Johnathan, Luc and Robbie of Iqaluit, NU.; her siblings, Alison Arsenault, Virginia "Ginny" Boudreau (Donnie), Amherst Head and Borden Chapman; her half-sister Barbara Hanright; and her stepsister Kathy Purdy (Gary). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in Carolyn's memory to the Pictou County Palliative Care Society or IWK Foundation.
