He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Colburn and Helen Nichols (Chisholm); his close friend Lise Schlewing; his parent Gwen Dalling; and his brothers, Weldie, Carl and Lloyd.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Erika MacDonald; his pet Flash; his siblings, Dudy Cranwell of Owen Sound, Sherri MacDonald and Tim Dalling; and his grandson Harrison Schlewing. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
