It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernette Cummings (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), born in Little Bras d'Or, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 26, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Benvie Cummings; her daughter Sue Ellen Cummings; and her siblings, John Charles, James Walter (Lou), Henry, Edward, Melvin, Joseph William, Matilida LeBlanc (Dot), Ellen LeBlanc (Nellie) and Clance Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Cummings (Dartmouth), Leanne Morgan (Brian), Linda MacKay (Lloyd) and Ben Cummings (Ann). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
