He was predeceased by: his parent Bill Fitzgerald; his wife Patricia "Pat" (Porter); and his brother James of Robert. He is survived by: his parent Ruby Fitzgerald (MacLellan); his daughters, Debbie Banks (Kenneth) of Pictou, Darlene Lumsden (Wayne) of Trenton, Donna Fitzgerald (Ray Hayman) and West Branch; his grandchildren, Johnathan, Derrick, Caitlin, Laura, Rebecca, Krista, Katie and Colby; and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Tori, Sophia, Gracie, Nevaeh and Zoe.
