She was predeceased by: her parents, Archibald Dan "Archie" and Margaret Lillian MacDonald (Lewis); her siblings, Karen Currie, Rita Fanning, Margaret "Peggy" MacDonald, John Eddy MacDonald and Joseph Patrick "Chow" MacDonald; and her siblings-in-law, Huguette MacDonald, Julie Murray, Edna Stewart, Angus MacDonald, Clarence Stewart, Charles "Charlie" Murray and Herbert Hodder.

She is survived by: her husband Ernest Chisholm "Ernie" Murray; her sister Valerie Anderson (Sam); and her siblings-in-law, Audrey Hodder (New Glasgow), John Currie, John Murray (Frances) and Donelda Stewart. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the P & K MacDonald Funeral Home Limited Chapel (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3). A committal service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:25 PM at the Brook Cemetery.
