Alpin Barteaux Obituary

We bid farewell to Alpin Barteaux (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), born in Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 14, 2024. Alpin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Barteaux and Sinar Barteaux; his wife Margaret; his son Phillip; his siblings, Doug, Fred, Watson (Benny), Walter (Cap) and Florence; and his grandson Michael Mason (Lourdes).

He is survived by: his children, Valerie Weatherbie (Ron), Allan Barteaux (Ann) of Hampton, NB, Frank Barteaux, Trenton, Cathy Barteaux-Pye (Pat), Joanie Thompson (Peter), Angela Barteaux and Darren Barteaux (Julie) of Ardoise, NS; his brother Millard Barteaux of Gimli, MB; his grandchildren, Jermaine, Stephen of Hampton, NB and Tim (Karen); his great grandchild Sabrina of Gander, NF; and his grandsons, Tyson and Vance.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home (55 Almont Ave, New Glasgow, NS B2H3G5).
