He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia Mason; his children-in-law, David MacKenzie and Doreen Chadwick Turner; and his siblings, Joseph Allen, Jerry, Douglas, Josephine, Mary Jane, Alice MacInnis, Mabel MacIsaac, Harriet Avery, Annie Quinn and Pearl MacLean.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian; his children, Joseph Turner, Patricia "Sue" Lohnes (Richard) and Mary MacKenzie; his stepchildren, Heather Cyr (Paul), Donna MacIntosh, Michael MacIntosh and Cora MacGillivray (Michael); his foster child Giles Doiron; and his brother Rick Fillmore (Matilda). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
