Alice Carrigan Obituary

In loving memory of Alice Carrigan (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who departed this world on March 8, 2025. Alice leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Desmond; her grandparents, Isaac and Jessie Desmond (Paris); her mother Evelyn June Graham (Desmond); her sisters, Karen "Tiny" and Juanita; and her aunts and uncles, Isabelle, Bessie, Annie, Shirley, Margaret, Eileen, Alfie, Louis, Doug, Francis, George, Clarence (Diddy) and Ernest Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Corey (Stephanie) and April of New Glasgow; her sisters, Annette MacLean (Greg) of New Glasgow, Jessie Johnson (Daryl) of Moncton and Carolyn "Dudy" of Montreal; her uncle Jim (Linda) of Kingston, NS; and her grandchildren, Keisha, Joseph, Ebony and Chyna. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home (55 Almont Ave, New Glasgow, NS B2H3G5).
