It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Adrian Heighton of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, born in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Heighton and Florence Heighton (MacLellan); his daughter Karen Heighton; and his siblings, Marie "Neen" Ardern, Jimmy, Dan, Ambrose and Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel (MacKenzie); his children, Jimmy (Sasan) and Kim Washburn (Mike); his grandchildren, Laura Washburn, Canmore, Alta, Brianne Washburn, Vietnam, Ryan Washburn and Erin Washburn; his son-in-law Alan Sutherland; and his brother Fred Heighton (Joyce). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
