Helen May Slauenwhite Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen May Slauenwhite of New Germany, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 28, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Maude Veinot (Zinck); her stepfather Hibbert Veinot; her brothers, Nelson, Ray and Richard; her son-in-law Denis Gilbert; and her husband Everett Slauenwhite.

She is survived by: her former husband Lewis Sawler; her sister Marjorie Oickle (Kevin); her daughter Juanita Pierce (Walter); her stepchildren, Glen Slauenwhite (Nadine) of New Germany and Sherry Russell (Greg) of New Germany; her grandchildren, Kim Pierce-Blagdon, Dan Pierce, Chris Pierce, Mike Sawler, Joey Muggah, James Muggah, Paige Sawler, Melissa Sawler and Damian Gilbert; and her stepgrandchildren, Devin Slauenwhite, Deanna Trepanier, Jillian and Christopher Russell. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

In her memory, contributions may be made to a charity of choice or to the Alzheimer's Society.
