Gerald Mitchelmore Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Mitchelmore (New Germany, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Doreen Mitchelmore and Churchill Mitchelmore; his brother Edwin; and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Scott and Sylvia Mitchelmore.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Garlick); his daughters, Kim Blanchette (Greg), Kara Mitchelmore (David Crain) and Kelly Mitchelmore (Jon Watson); his grandchildren, Andrew Blanchette, Maggie Lafeber (Jesse), Ryan Archer-Biddle (Erin) and Allison Biddle; his siblings, Richard (Nellie), Theo, Godfrey (Priscilla) and Jillian; his brother-in-law Bernie Scott (Joanne); and his caregiver Annapolis. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
