Barbara Ann Baker-Dykens Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Baker-Dykens (New Germany, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 11, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joseph Garfield and Mary Leontine Baker (Gallant); her brother Michael Baker; and her grandson Adrian Dykens. She is survived by: her husband Robert Dykens; her children, Bonita Dykens (Bob White), Bradley Dykens (Cindy) and Robin Hurshman of Windsor, NS; her grandchildren, Lucinda Dykens (Brett Lane), Adam, Jolie, Owen Dykens, Jason Grech, Katie White and Robert Hurshman (Traci); her great grandchildren, Alexis, Austin Hurshman, Zander, Xane Grech and Tristan White; and her siblings, Elizabeth Foy (Lyle) and Donald Baker (Grafton). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital, your local church, or Canadian Cancer Society.
