She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Blakeney and Merle Blakeney (Mitchell); her husband Austen; her daughter Janice Lee; her brother Carman Blakeney; and her siblings-in-law, Agnes Blakeney and John Charest.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy and Michael (Laurena); her grandchildren, Jacqueline (William), Jordan (Lauryn) and Rylie (Donald); her great grandchild Austin; and her siblings, Brenda Charest, Ward Blakeney, Mona Mosher (Gus) and Drew Blakeney.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Church (7964 Nova Scotia Trunk 7, Musquodoboit Harbour, NS B0J2L0).
