She was predeceased by: her parents, John Paterson and Hilda Paterson; her husband Dick; her son John; and her sister Vera Adlington (late Ray).
She is survived by: her sons, Ian (Julie) and Peter (Cheryl); her grandsons, Richard (Emily), Adam (Brenden) and Benjamin (Hanna); and her sisters, Ruth Eisenhauer (Harry) and Isobel Paterson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Church in Musquodoboit Harbour, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or charity of choice.
