She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Strachan; her son Joey Strachan; her parents, James Phelan and Gillian Phelan (Williams); her son-in-law Buddy Hardy; her brothers, Edison Williams and Gerald Williams; her aunts, Cynthia Power, Elsie Bosch and Dorothy Williams; her uncle Havelock Williams; and her grandparents, John and Violetta Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Phillip Strachan (Sharon) and Brenda Hardy; her brothers, Clare Williams (Jane) and Edger Dort (Diane); her sister-in-law Iona Williams; and also, Patrick Strachan, Fort McMurray, Meghann Strachan, Lower Sackville, Doug Hardy (Holly), Jim Hardy (Maria) and Nickina Gardener.

Flowers accepted, or donations can be made in lieu to the Mulgrave and Area Resting Place, or a charity of choice.
