With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theresa Elizabeth Brophy (Mulgrave, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 12, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Delorey and Margueritte Delorey (Haywood); her siblings, Freda Fitzpatrick (Aloysius) of Mattie Settlement, Linda Atkins of Mattie Settlement, Halfway Cove of Mattie Settlement, Joan Jameson (Sylvester) of Mattie Settlement, Mattie Settlement of Mattie Settlement, Alex (Bernedette) of Mattie Settlement, James River of Mattie Settlement, Mary Ann Carter of Mattie Settlement, Garfield (Jean) of Mattie Settlement, Alfie (Norma) of Mattie Settlement and Wayne (Patricia) of Saskatchewan; her son Michael Joseph; her brothers, Vince and Buddy; her brothers-in-law, Jim, Wayne and Elliot; and her nephew Darren Walsh.
She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Ellarose Huard (Allan), Lower South River, Dorraine MacEachern (Kevin), Dundee, James Digby (Tammy McKay) and Debra Chisholm (Ron); her grandchildren, Warren (Julie Drisdelle), Thea (Craig Power), Nicole (Jeff MacPhee), James Michael (Courtney Cameron), Daniel (Jennifer Henley), Katie, Hunter (Kelly Horsman), Hannah (Spencer Fulton) and Jade; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth, Mattie Settlement and Ann.
She overcame a severe case of leukemia, crippling arthritis, broken legs, Covid, COPD and a collapsed lung.
